King Kerosene, NJ Rockabilly!

King Kerosene is a rockabilly trio from New Jersey USA. Formed by guitarist/songwriter Scott Murphy in 1994, the group became more active in 1997 with new drummer and bass player Mike and Anthony Saporito. The first release, "Good Rockin' Music" was a 3 song 7" EP.  In 1998 the band had the song Five More Minutes included on Run Wild Records' Friday Nite Rumble Vol. 1. In 1999, the full length CD, "Just Warmin' Up" was released to critical acclaim, and the band increased their live shows at festivals, car shows, and clubs. King Kerosene's last performance was June 2002 at David Loehr's Rockabilly Rebel Weekend in Indianapolis IN. After a long hiatus, the band is back with a 5 song EP entitled "Greasy Side Down." Live shows are coming this fall.
